When does Maison Villatte close for their winter break??
Perfect and Authentic. Coming from a French guy :)
Awesome croissants! Get there early to have a good selection, this place is super popular even during weekdays, and certain pastries get sold fast.
MoreA very popular local bakery with savory and sweet treats, bread, and other baked goods. The ham and cheese croissant was fluffy and rich. The maison chocolate raspberry cake is my favorite item.
MoreTOP NOTCH traditional french patisserie! Exceptional breads, pastry and sandwiches. I highly recommend the pear tart if you're looking to bring home something special or as a gift.
MoreSuch an amazing bakery. Always fresh, super tasty. One of my favorite places in Falmouth, MA. If you come to Falmouth you have to visit Maison Villatte ♡
MoreThis place is amazing!!! I stopped in with my family when we visited about a year ago and I couldn't stop thinking about it ever since. I would randomly bring it into conversation, telling people about the amazing patisserie in Falmouth. It came to the point that I decided to take a day off of work and drive the two hours to cape cod to come back here. It did not disappoint! I have not had an eclair so perfect and authentic since my trip to France. I am still and will continue to think and refer back to this wonderful place.
MoreGreat place to have breakfast / brunch/ lunch.
Excellent bread and pastries. Everything always seems fresh baked.
The best pastries on the Cape - my daughter insists on getting this raspberry tart every time we are within driving distance of Falmouth!
MoreWhat a nice and authentic place! Everything we tried was delicious, croissants tasted the way they do in Paris, and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely return!
MoreThe absolute best ham and cheese croissant I have ever had. The “Le Cape” sandwich was so good I walked back into town about a mile just to get another for the drive home the next day. Super friendly staff, busy but efficient and not too long to wait. All in all 10/10, and keeping with good safety practices during COVID and the best quality for a reasonable price.
MoreSpectacular! Every pastry is as beautiful as it is delicious.
Authentic French bakery. Real artisanal breads, croissants, pastries and much more. An absolute must.
MoreThay good to me.
Top notch. Best quality bakery out side of Pie in the Sky in Woods Hole but it's on another level. The lines are typically obscene in summer and weekends but worth it. They need a separate line for espresso only customers.
MoreSimply put: One of the best pastry shops we’ve ever been into. Holds its own against France, New York, Los Angeles, etc. The Pan au chocolate is flaky, brown, and smells like a warm cookie. Quiche are light and fluffy, with not-too-sour goat cheese. Staff are pleasant, courteous, helpful. All in all, an amazing find; we went back 3x in the first week alone!
MorePopped in for a croissant and left with baguette, cookies and fruit tarts! All were fantastic!! Will most definitely be back!
MoreAMAZING food, we visited Cape Cod for the first time and fell in love with the pastries and bread, one of the best bakeries I’ve been too. Unfortunately all workers were RUDE, hasty, and easily IRRITABLE. They’d roll their eyes annoyed with us if we ordered too much or had any questions, the fresh and well made food brought it up to 4 stars.
MoreAmazing selection of pastries, quiches, fresh baked breads, desserts, and much more!! Plus its a perfect location right on Main Street in Downtown Falmouth.
MoreI can’t say enough wonderful things about this bakery. It is completely spectacular. The best chocolate chip cookie you will ever have. Mouth watering croissants, financiers, muffins, and the sandwiches are perfection (highly recommend Le Cape and Le Parisien). My family visits Cape Cod once a summer and we always make a point to visit Maison Villatte. It’s amazing!
MoreDoes this place really need another stellar review? Not really. If the line isn't going around and around and around and out the door in the summer months, you're lucky. I've talked to people waiting on line adjacent to me that literally drove hours just to come to this place - and no, they weren't crazy. It is that good. Don't be put off by the length of the line though. This little slice of French bakery heaven is usually well staffed and the few minutes you have to wait is enjoyably spent mulling over your options and choices with a variety of delights that never ceases to amaze.
MoreGood bakery: baguette and croissants were very good. Too bad they ran out of pains au chocolat by early afternoon. Also ordered a cake (royal) which was good, but not particularly well executed. Only 2/3 of the cake had the three layers that were expected. The other third was only chocolate mousse. Very odd (see picture, if I figure out how to add one).
MoreVery good but average cossaints, and pastries.
Lovely little bakery in downtown Falmouth. High attention to detail for all of the pastries accompanied by excellent coffee. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor space to sit and enjoy authentic French pastries. Chocolate chip cookies were also out of this world. On par with some of our favorite places in Manhattan- highly recommend to visitors and locals alike!
MoreAmazing French pastry. Best croissants I have ever tasted - even in France!
Best croissants (ham and cheese, and plain) ever. Bread is perfect too.
Love this French bistro in Falmouth. Made a special detour before going further down the Cape just to get their sandwiches. So many choices, really can't go wrong.
MoreDelish! I am from CT and would drive the 2.5 hours just to go to this bakery. The croissants were amazing, the tarts and breads out of this world. Staff was very friendly and the prices fair.
MoreWonderful French pastries!!! Wide variety of sweet and savoury breads with fillings and topping I've never seen. I could eat here every day for six months and still not taste everything. Truly amazing.
MoreAmazing authentic French bakery with a wide selection, super friendly, fast paced staff. We were hunting for a lunch spot and saw people packing in here. Once the doors opened the smell of fresh pastries made us go in. So happy we did. Super affordable, and probably the best French pastries I've ever had. So worth checking out!!
More5 Star Art of French Bakery. Next level. With Incredible affordable fresh DAILY.Fougasse.Raspberry Croissant.
MoreAmazing pastries and quiches! Worth the wait!
Best bakery in town!! You can smell the fresh baked goodies as soon as you walk in.
MoreCroissants second only to ones I've had in Paris. The taste is worth the line.
There's a reason there's usually a like out the door at this place and it's well worth the wait!!! While their pasteries and sweet treats are amazing, don't write them off as just a bakery -- their sandwiches, soups, quiches, etc are just as impressive. Great spot to stop for lunch!
MoreThere is nothing better than this French bakery for a hundreds of miles in every direction
